Welcome to Micklefield School
Come and Discover Micklefield
Micklefield is a small, friendly school and nursery in the heart of Reigate, where children are known individually and encouraged to make the most of every stage of their education. Whether you’re looking ahead to Reception, considering a move from another school or looking for a place in one of our older year groups, we’d love you to come and see Micklefield for yourself.
Working Open Morning
Friday 9 October
Join us for our Working Open Morning and see Micklefield on a normal school day. Visit our classrooms, meet our teachers and pupils and see the school in action. You’ll have the opportunity to explore the school, talk to us about your child and find out what joining Micklefield could look like – whether that’s in Reception or further up the school.
Why Micklefield?
Small enough to know every child
Micklefield is a close-knit school where teachers get to know children well – their strengths, interests and the things that help them learn and grow in confidence.
A strong start in Reception
Reception gives children an exciting start to school life, combining excellent early teaching with plenty of opportunities to explore, create, play and become more independent. Being part of the wider school means children also benefit from specialist teaching and facilities from the beginning.
Joining further up the school
Reception isn't the only time to join Micklefield. We regularly welcome children into other year groups and understand that families look for a new school at different stages. Our small classes and friendly community help new children settle quickly, make friends and feel part of school life.
A broad education
Alongside strong classroom teaching, children enjoy specialist subjects and a wide range of opportunities in sport, music, art, drama and activities beyond the classroom.
“The staff make learning exciting — my daughter can’t wait to come to school each morning.” – Reception Parent
