1G Class Assembly

Congratulations to 1G who delivered a fantastic Class Assembly this morning!

They proudly shared their recent learning in history and geography, exploring our local area, England and the countries that make up the UK.  They have even been learning how to use a compass, making their own to navigate around the school and playground!

The children loved exploring Google Maps and were thrilled to spot Micklefield school and playground online.  They have also been learning about the differences between cities, towns and villages.

To celebrate St Patrick’s Day today, 1G shared some brilliant facts - did you know over 100 countries celebrate it, even astronauts on the International Space Station?  They showcased wonderful leprechaun‑themed outfits, shared fun facts about four‑leaf clovers and recited a cheerful leprechaun poem that brought smiles all around.

Well done 1G - your confidence, enthusiasm and fantastic learning shone on stage!
