Y5 Art Club Bring Creativity and Joy to Ridgegate Care Home

A group of our Year 5 children who attend the Monday Art Lunch Club enjoyed a wonderful visit to Ridgegate Care Home. The children confidently led a Valentine’s‑themed art activity, guiding and supporting the residents as they created beautiful heart‑inspired pieces to keep.
The residents were absolutely delighted with many joining in the activity, while others enjoyed simply watching the pupils’ creativity unfold. Ridgecate care home praised the Micklefield children for being polite, engaging and full of enthusiasm, sharing how much the visit had brightened their day.
It was a heart‑warming afternoon of creativity, connection and community and we are incredibly proud of our pupils for representing the school so brilliantly.
