Year 2 Begin Spring Term Violin Journey

Year 2 were thrilled to begin their Spring Term Violin lessons.
This term, every Year 2 child has their own Violin to use, enabling them to fully immerse themselves in weekly class Violin lessons led by our peripatetic teacher, Mrs Lloyd‑Wilson.
In their first session, they learned how to hold the Violin correctly, identify each of the strings and play using pizzicato. Impressively, they rounded off the lesson by performing a simple piece together as a whole class.
