New Reading Café

We are delighted to share that a new club has launched this term: the Reading Café. Every Thursday afternoon, pupils gather for a blissful hour of quiet reading with Mrs Barker and Mrs Gillibrand, creating a calm and cosy space to enjoy their books.
Yesterday, the children were treated to a tasty biscuit and drink from our Lodestone House catering team before sharing brief summaries of their books with one another - a lovely way to build confidence and spark new reading interests.
As this year marks the National Year of Reading, our pupils have made a fantastic start. We are especially excited for the soon‑to‑be‑completed refurbishment of our School Library, where we look forward to enjoying many more reading adventures in a beautiful new space.
