Think Week: A Celebration of Respect and Reflection

This week, our school embraced the spirit of Think Week, coming together to reflect on what truly matters. We were delighted to welcome Sparkfish, who transformed our ICT room into a serene and thoughtful space - an oasis of calm in the midst of our busy school life.

With a focus on our term’s value 'Respect', the room offered a variety of quiet and creative activities, designed to inspire kindness and mindfulness:

  • A paper garden where children crafted flowers and trees from tissue paper
  • A kindness net for writing or drawing heartfelt messages to others
  • Origami boats floating gently on water, symbolising peaceful journeys
  • Sand trays for making handprints and patterns
  • Collaborative LEGO building to foster teamwork and imagination
  • A calm glitter jar to shake and watch settle, encouraging emotional regulation
  • Fizzing tablets dropped into fish bowls, showing how acts of kindness ripple outward
  • Play-doh creations, bringing a wave of nostalgia and calm

The atmosphere was one of quiet joy, reflection and connection. Children were deeply engaged and many found comfort in the gentle, sensory experiences.

Thank you to Sparkfish for providing such a meaningful and interactive experience. Your visit helped our children explore the value of respect in a truly memorable way.
