First House Assemblies of the Academic Year

This morning, the whole school came together for the first house assemblies of the academic year.
Our Year 6 pupils each delivered a short, introductory and motivating speech to their house. Their words encouraged everyone to work hard, support one another and remember to proudly put up their house points!
Following the speeches, each House (Cranston, Fonteyn, Somers and Waterlow) enjoyed themed activities focussing on Micklefield School's Value for the term - Respect. Through thoughtful discussions and collaborative tasks, pupils explored what respect means in everyday school life.
