Year 6 Girls Football Masterclass with Fliss Gibbons

Some of our Year 6 girls had an unforgettable experience on the pitch with Crystal Palace Women's professional footballer Fliss Gibbons. Joined by peers from our sister schools, Reigate St Mary's and Chinthurst, Fliss delivered a fantastic training session, guiding the girls through three dynamic drills designed to sharpen their skills and boost their confidence. From mastering ball control to strategic teamwork exercises, each drill challenged and inspired them.
To cap off the morning, the girls had the special opportunity to ask Fliss about her journey in football - gaining valuable insights into what it takes to compete at the highest level. It was an inspiring and rewarding session and the girls were delighted to get her autograph before returning to school!
