Micklefield Belton House Nursery Sports Day

Congratulations to all the children in Micklefield Belton House Nursery who took part in their exciting Sports Day on Tuesday morning. The children enjoyed completing a number of events including: target throwing, balancing a beanbag on a bat, relay shuttle runs, ladder jumping, a water race, bean bag collect and long jump. Enthusiasm and determination was on full display as the children tackled each challenge with smiles and energy. Thank you to children in Year 4 who helped the Nursery children at each of the themed events.
Although the planned picnic had to be swapped for an indoor celebration due to a sudden downpour, the children quickly adapted and enjoyed their well-earned lollies and medal ceremony inside. Rain may have changed the plans but it certainly didn’t dampen the spirit of the day!
Well done to everyone who took part and made it a fantastic event.
