Masterclass with Rugby Legend Sam Warburton

Year 5 boys had an incredible experience, thanks to RGS, as they took part in a rugby masterclass led by Sam Warburton—former British & Irish Lions and Wales Captain.
Alongside their peers from our sister schools, Reigate St Mary’s and Chinthurst, the children received expert coaching from the RGS sports team, honing their skills through an exciting 360-touch game, as well as passing and kicking drills. Sam Warburton was hands-on throughout -offering tips, encouragement and even joining in the fun!
A special Q&A session gave the children the chance to ask questions about Sam's rugby career and the current Lions squad. The morning ended on a high as they were thrilled to receive Sam's autograph!
