The Science of Structures

Today in Science Club the children have been learning about how to re-inforce 3D structures using marshmallows and spaghetti!

They studied different scaffolding structures to get ideas. The children then built some impressive 3D structures and went on to see who could build the tallest structure.

The Curse of the Mummy

Building Community Spirit

Every week the Nursery children visit their local nursing home, Abbeyfield, to spend time with the residents. International Netball Trip

Year 5 and 6 pupils had an inspiring trip to the Copper Box, at the Olympic Park, to watch international netball. The girls were treated to two fantastic games in the Nations Netball Cup where New Zealand beat South Africa, but sadly England narrowly lost to Jamaica.

Freshwater Theatre Workshop for Year 1

This week Year 2 took part in a workshop led by Freshwater theatre about the stories of Hans Christian Anderson. The children experienced three stories; The Ugly Duckling, The Princess and the Pea and Thumbelina which they brought to life through actions, props and participation.
