On Tuesday, we held a special whole-school assembly to bid farewell to Mr White. It was wonderful to reflect on and celebrate the many incredible projects he has so talentedly created across the school during his 13 years at Micklefield.
It was also a particularly touching moment to share some of the heartfelt messages from staff and pupils. The Reception children’s nickname for him, “King of the Gate,” brought a smile to everyone’s face and perfectly captured the warmth and kindness he has shown to our community.
Thank you, Mr White, for all the amazing things you have done for Micklefield. You will be truly missed, and we wish you every happiness in your retirement and special time with your family. Please do keep in touch – you will always be part of the Micklefield family.
