This morning, it was a pleasure to welcome Caroline Lawson, Assistant Head at RGS, to Micklefield. It is always a pleasure to welcome visitors from the RGS family of schools.

Mrs Lawson delivered an inspiring whole-school assembly on the theme “Gratitude is the Attitude.” She encouraged the children to reflect on what gratitude really means and how a positive mindset can make a real difference - especially when things don’t go to plan. By looking for the silver lining and considering what good might come from a situation, we can begin to shift our mindset and appreciate what we have.

She invited the children to take time each day to reflect on three things they are grateful for, helping to build and maintain a positive outlook.

It was a wonderful reminder to us all that small things - like gratitude and good manners - cost nothing, yet have the power to make a positive impact on our daily lives.

Thank you to Caroline Lawson for taking the time to visit us.
