Class 2F Assembly – Emotions and Feelings
Well done to Class 2F for their wonderful whole school assembly today on Emotions and Feelings.
They shared the story of The Colour Monster and explored a range of emotions including happiness, sadness, love, calm, anger and fear. It was particularly lovely to hear the children confidently recite their beautifully written poems, each capturing these feelings so thoughtfully.
The children reminded us that when we can name our feelings, they become easier to understand and that all feelings are valid and an important part of being human.
Class 2F spoke brilliantly, demonstrating great confidence as they presented to such a large audience and remembered their many lines. They also showed the whole school the importance of resilience - that it is okay to try again when things feel challenging.
