Christmas Shoe Box Collection

Thank you to all the families who donated Christmas Shoeboxes for the charity collection, Link to Hope this week.  There was a wonderful response with 65 boxes plus a financial donation to the charity.  The shoeboxes are destined for families and elderly communities in Ukraine, Moldova, Bulgaria and Romania.

It has also been lovely to hear that putting the boxes together has sparked lots of conversations at home with our families about what challenges other people face and how we can help them.  The donations will make a difference to these families at Christmas who are living in war-torn or poverty-stricken circumstances. Thank you to the Friends of Micklefield for co-ordinating this collection.
