Diwali Story Telling Session

The Freshwater Theatre Company did a fantastic job of engaging our Reception children in an interactive Diwali story telling session this week. The pupils really enjoyed learning the story through the medium of drama. They will certainly remember the experience!

The Science of Slime

Our Year 5 and 6 got well and truly ‘slimed’ in Science club this evening. They had lots of fun learning the Science behind slime, including how to mix it to the correct consistency and add different colours and the scents of bubblegum, chocolate and marshmallows – to make it smell better!

I Hope You Dance

Whilst many were disappointed to miss out on a ‘snow day’ on Friday our Lower School were relieved they could make it in for the much loved school disco! Thank you to our wonderful Friends of Micklefield (FOM) for once again putting on a showstopping event.

New School Council Announced

This week our new School Council has been announced with representatives from across the school. Well done everyone! We look forward to hearing about the teams’ fundraising ideas for our designated charities soon. A Magic Time for Preps

This afternoon our Preps were treated to a Puppet Show by magician extraordinaire, Mr Marvel. The children had a wonderful time with lots of laughter and giggles all round. A lovely light-hearted way for the children to start the weekend.

Festive food for food bank

Festive Food Today Micklefield School pupils brought in bags of food for local Reigate Charity food bank, Loveworks, in exchange for wearing their festive jumpers.
