We wanted to share with you how well our Reception children are getting on after just one half term. It has been a  happy transition to Lower School for them.  As well as making new friends and acquainting themselves with school life they have been making headway in English and Maths and are enjoying new experiences beyond the school environment. They are also learning to actively listen, work together as a team and becoming much more independent in putting their coats on and lining up. Their self-development is coming along in leaps and bounds, they really are a lovely bunch of children to work with!

When asked what they like enjoyed most about school they had lots to say with the most popular responses – ‘storytime’, ‘number lines’, ‘play-time’, ‘reading’, ‘making friends’, ‘sport’, the French teacher’s assistant ‘Camembear’ and ‘the food.’ As one child put it ‘Everything’s fun!’
