In French, Year 6 have been learning about the French Revolution, as part of this term’s project. They studied the historical events leading up to the Revolution and many children created news reports, based on a particular angle that most piqued their interest. Well done Layla G for creating an outstanding animation!

The children also studied how France and many countries around the world still celebrate Bastille Day, on the 14th July. They also created posters to advertise their Bastille Day celebration.

Madame Jackson was delighted with the standard of work produced, the excellent dramatic skills demonstrated and the great sense of humour of the Micklefield Year 6 children.
