The Preparatory and Lower School’s performances of Bethlehem’s Buzzin’ were simply delightful this week.
The adaptation of the traditional nativity story, by Daisy Bond and Ian Faraday, gave a compelling take on the nativity to illustrate the true message of Christmas. I think you’ll all agree that the less-than-honest market stall holders hoping to cash-in on the large numbers of visitors arriving in Bethlehem were authentically played with great comic timing by our Year 1 and 2 cast. All of the children acted and sung admirably and did a wonderful job of depicting how their lives were changed forever by their experience in the lowly stable.
It is not easy for our younger children to stand in front of an audience under the spotlights and perform, so thank you parents for all of your encouragement and friendly faces! Not forgetting all of the staff involved for coming together to produce such a moving show.
We hope you all enjoyed the performances.
