In Year 6 Science this week pupils learned about classification and identity keys through the novel medium of sweets!
This involved sorting the sweets according to their common characteristics – shape, size, type and flavours.
The children demonstrated amazing willpower in not eating the experiment until they had created a successful branching key!
Micklefield was all at sea today with the invasion of the Pirates of the Preps.
The children enjoyed tales of pirate adventure along with a French lesson and a treasure hunt.
They’ve made telescopes, maps and medallions. Fun on the ocean wave was had by all.
Huge Congratulations to our victorious Under 10 football squad who played at RSM on Saturday. The team beat Banstead, RSM and finally Chinthurst in a nail biting penalty shootout.
Congratulations to our under 9 football squad who journeyed to Hawthorns for their first tournament of the season. We came third out of 12, beating St. Michaels, New Beacon, Cumnor House and Ardingly along the way!
