EXTRA CURRICULAR

The School

Micklefield School opened in a small house in Reigate in 1910. We are now a thriving school for over 280 boys and girls aged 3 – 11 years.

We provide a stimulating, caring and challenging environment that fosters the pursuit of high standards throughout all areas of the curriculum. Pupils are encouraged to become successful learners and to grow into individuals who will confidently take their places in society.

Our pupils are given opportunities which will enable them to become effective contributors and responsible citizens from an early age.

At Micklefield we constantly review our curriculum to ensure its relevance in an enjoyable environment.

The Christian faith forms the basis of religious and moral teaching. The school is, however, non-denominational and welcomes children of all faiths.

Pupils are equipped for entry into their chosen senior schools in the maintained and independent sectors at the age of eleven. They are prepared for all entrance exams, including Common Entrance, and a range of scholarships.
